On November 5th, the World Sensors Summit 2023 officially opened in Zhengzhou. Renowned academicians, experts, and representatives from various enterprises gathered to conduct in-depth discussions on the technological frontier, industry trends, and hot issues in the field of sensors. They shared the latest achievements in sensor technology, industry, and applications, aiming to promote the high-quality development of the sensor industry.
This conference was jointly organized by the People's Government of Henan Province, China Science and Technology Association, and hosted by the People's Government of Zhengzhou City, Henan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, Henan Science and Technology Association, and China Institute of Instrument and Control. The specific implementation was carried out by the Federation of German-Chinese Friendship Associations, the Management Committee of Zhengzhou High-tech Zone, and other units.
The conference lasted for three days, with the theme "Perceiving the World, Innovating for the Future". The overall activities were composed of "one meeting, one competition, and one exhibition". "One meeting" refers to a series of activities of the 2023 World Sensors Summit, including the opening ceremony and keynote speech, 10 sub-events, production and marketing matching meetings, and Sino-European sensor industry cooperation exchanges. "One competition" is the Sensor Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. "One exhibition" is the scientific and technological achievements exhibition jointly organized by the Zhengzhou Municipal Government during the same period.

The total value of these projects is approximately 36 billion yuan. These projects with high scientific and technological content, good development prospects, and strong driving capabilities will promote the transformation and upgrading of Henan's industrial structure and become a powerful engine for accelerating regional economic development. Especially in Zhengzhou High-tech Zone, which has designated the sensor industry as one of its four leading industries, it has reached cooperation with well-known domestic and foreign enterprises such as Ziguang Computer Technology Co., Ltd., China Unicom Zhengzhou Branch, Donghua Software Co., Ltd., Yuxin Electronic Technology Group Co., Ltd., Germany Heidelberg Printing Machinery Co., Ltd., Germany Rhine Group, France Stilla Company, etc. They have signed a total of 24 "large orders" with a total amount of 30 billion yuan, accounting for over 80% of the total amount.
As the first world-class industrial development conference in Henan Province, the Sensor Conference has been successfully held for four consecutive years, and its brand effect has gradually emerged. According to the ranking of China's top ten sensor parks issued by the China Institute of Information and Communications Industry Development under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in October 2022, Zhengzhou High-tech Zone ranks fourth in the central region and first in the middle region.
